Hi, I’m Nicole McKinley. I am a stay-at-home mom with two children,
Madeline who is 4 1/2, and Jon who is 2 1/2 years old. My husband Jon and I have
been married for almost 8 years. We moved to Brunswick in January of 2000 and we
love it here. The people here are great! It has been our dream to build a new
house and Brunswick allowed us to fulfill our dream. Previous to living in
Brunswick, we’ve owned homes in both Berea and North Olmsted. My husband and I
both grew up in the Cleveland area.
I am a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College with a degree in psychology. I am
also a Master Money Manager with the Ohio State University. I volunteer my time
to help those in need of budgeting, credit problems, and general financial
planning. My husband is a Project Manager/ Software Developer for NASA.
I got involved with Citizens for a Better Brunswick™ because I would like to
see this community grow and change with the times. Brunswick is not the same
community it was in the 70’s and 80’s. I’m tired of people referring to us
as "Brunstucky." This town has a tremendous amount of potential and I
believe that some changes need to be made to reach that full potential. I think
that with the help of the citizens of Brunswick, we can make this a better place
to live, work, and do business. I believe that this group can be a catalyst for
positive change in Brunswick, and I’m very excited to be a part of it.
